We are a Woodcarving Club for beginners as well as the experienced carvers. Our purpose is to promote and teach the wonderful art of woodcarving while enjoying our meetings socializing. Any club member is willing to help adult beginners 18 years of age and older get started, as well as anyone younger as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. Members of the Highlands Woodcarvers have worked on several different award-winning projects, including animals, caricatures, and landscapes using a variety of techniques such as chip & relief carving, miniature creation, and, woodburning.
